Our commitment in plain language: We collect only the information needed to schedule and confirm your gutter service appointments. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS messages are sent only to customers who explicitly opt in.

Gutters And More ("we," "us," or "our") is a licensed gutter installation, cleaning, repair, and gutter guard company located in Lynchburg, Virginia 24502, serving customers throughout Central Virginia within a 60-mile service area. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you contact us, request a quote, or schedule an appointment through our website or by phone.

"I agree to receive SMS messages from Gutters And More including appointment reminders and confirmations. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe." This consent applies exclusively to Gutters And More and is not shared with or transferable to any third party, in compliance with the FCC one-to-one consent requirement effective January 26, 2026.

No SMS messages are sent prior to receiving this documented consent.

4.2 Types of SMS Messages We Send

We send only the following types of SMS messages:

  • Appointment confirmations — confirming the date, time, and address of your scheduled gutter service
  • Appointment reminders — reminding you of an upcoming scheduled appointment
  • Service updates — notifying you of arrival times or same-day schedule changes

We do not send unsolicited promotional or marketing SMS messages.

4.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your scheduled appointments. You will typically receive no more than 2–3 messages per scheduled appointment (one confirmation and one or two reminders).

4.4 Opting Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. The FCC's 'Revoke-All' rule — currently scheduled to take effect January 31, 2027 — will require a single STOP request to revoke consent across all communication types from the same sender. Gutters And More will update its practices accordingly before that date.

4.6 Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Gutters And More does not charge any fee for SMS messages.

Your phone number and SMS consent are never sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party for any purpose, including marketing. Consent obtained for SMS messaging is used exclusively by Gutters And More for the purposes described in Section 4.2 above.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

Gutters And More does not sell, rent, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer your personal information — including your name, phone number, email, or service address — to any third party for commercial or marketing purposes. Period.

6. Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We may share information with software tools (such as scheduling platforms or SMS delivery services) solely to deliver the services you requested. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.

7. Data Retention

We retain customer information only as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Customer records related to completed jobs are typically retained for up to 3 years for warranty and service history purposes. SMS opt-in consent records are retained for a minimum of 4 years as required by carrier compliance guidelines.
